Welcome to the 3rd Annual Ultimate Pink Blog Hop! I am so excited to join in all the creativity that this international demonstrator group is sharing tonight. Cancer is brutal on patients and families. We hope to encourage our loved ones to be filled with courage and fight hard as we support and believe for research to find a cure.
My card design features our Ribbon of Courage stamp set. It was the obvious choice for Breast Cancer Awareness in October. I used Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink in my card.
My first card is a basic design. The Everyday Label punch is easy to lift with our Stampin' Dimensionals. I punched out a Flirty Flamingo Everyday Label, cut it in half and adhered it so each end peeks out to frame the Whisper White Everyday Label.
I stamped the hearts in a staggered pattern and then came back and stamped the "Courage"sentiment in the opposite color. The flowers are a breeze to stamp and then punch out with our 1/2 inch circle punch. I used a glue dot under each flower, which created a slight lift.
In this second design I stepped it up with more layers. The sentiment has an extra layer horizontally. The card base is Whisper White with Flirty Flamingo as a layer framing the card front. I also added a beautiful bow to draw focus to the sentiment.
Inside is an encouraging sentiment and one more whimsical flower.
