Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop Hugs from Shelli

Hello friends!  I am excited that it is our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop night and to share the special May kit "Hugs from Shelli" with you.  Our team has crafted up all sorts of creativity to inspire you to have alternate design fun with your kit.

Shellie Gardner is the co-founder of Stampin' Up!  She designed the May projects.  I *love* these cards, the color palette is so pretty!  Look below at the supplies that came in the kit. 

I used a similar color palette for my cards: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock, Early Espresso, and Pool Party.  There is also vellum layered on some of my designs.  I'm really fond of our new In Color Pretty Peacock, it is a personal favorite color hue, for the flowers I stamped on the background.

These image stamps are so versatile for backgrounds or focal points.  I think this card turned out nicely as a masculine design from a very feminine kit.  I used Crumb Cake stamped off on my grid paper and then stamped on my card.

This card design has the birds again as a background and splatters of Pool Party.  I love to layer punches for emphasizing sentiments as a focal point.  The font size of the sentiments fit very nicely with several of our Annual catalog punches.

This is the monthly tutorial video made by the Paper Pumpkin team to expediently show the steps to assemble the projects.

Spring Stamping Bingo Wrap-Up

Hello friends!  I had a spectacular group of crafty stampers join me for Spring Stamping Bingo on Saturday.  

I shared a display of swap cards from our recent OnStage event for demonstrators.

Of course we played several rounds of bingo.

Our table full of raffle prizes. 

Stamping stations were set up for each project.

We had 8 projects which meant 8 stamping stations.

Tutorials were provided for every project, so everyone had detailed instructions to complete their projects at their own pace.

After completing a stamping station they returned to their seat to assemble their project packet.

This is a collage of the projects.  They decorated a Mini Pizza Box with the "Garden Impressions" Desinger Series Paper and then filled it  with a collection of 3 - 3x3 cards and envelopes.  Two A2 cards coordinated with the box of cards.  We used the "Abstract Impressions" stamp set for these projects.

They also made two A2 cards and a 3x3 card using the "Botanical Butterfly" Designer Series Paper featured exclusively during Sale-a-bration this year.  The "Good Morning Magnolia" stamp set and Timeless Label punch were a fun sneak peek products to use on these cards - they are available on June 4th in the new Annual Catalog.
