Hello friends - I am so excited for our Kre8tors July Blog Hop! Our theme is floral so our project designs are going to be amazing floral ideas.  It is especially hot in Idaho right now, it's our typical roasting summer weather.  I am happy to be inside cool and crafty!

I made a wreath to highlight the beautiful Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.  It is a 12" wire wreath frame, but it is much larger than I had expected.  It just barely fit into my photo backdrop set-up!

Here it is hanging on my front door to give you perspective on how large and beautiful it is as a focal home decor piece.  The project was shared with me by Greta Leonard, from my team.  I was excited to try it with our Magnolia Lane DSP.  The paper is cut into 2x4 strips and then scored 1/2" from one end.  The opposite end is punched with our Banner Triple Punch. 

I folded each paper strip end over the wire frame.  I used a cool temp glue gun to adhere each paper strip in place.  This is a close-up to show the layers of colors and textures.  Magnolias are on-trend and are blooming right now in our area.  And I think many people now associate the name "Magnolia" with the famous designer Joanna Gaines and her store Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas.

I am really happy with how it turned out and am excited to feature these next week at a local artisan boutique "Fun in the Sun" by The Holiday House Boutique.  I hope you will come out and enjoy shopping among many local artisans in one location!
