Rustic Retreat Watercolor Card

I spied the Rustic Retreat stamp set and could NOT believe I had missed it in a past catalog.  It is the prefect forest/cabin/hunting/mountain retreat themed stamp set and it is is so cute!  I added it to my next order and designed it for our July stamp club. 

We used the Watercolor Pencils to color the images (stamped with Memento Tuxedo ink pad).  This first card is just plain pencils.

Then we used Blender pens over the Watercolor pencil colors for the final step.  This softens and smooths the color blending.  The bear in this version did not have as much color depth as the sample above, I think I might add more color to him. 

Did you notice the A. A. Milne quote?  Ah, love it!!!!
