Hello and welcome to our April Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop! Tonight we are sharing alternative ideas for the April kit: All the Little Things.
This kit is really special and different with a beautiful holographic element on the die cut layers. It includes 9 cards: 3 designs and 3 cards for each design with coordinating envelopes.
I love the envelope and focused my ideas on designing with the envelope. First I sliced off the back flap and then trimmed each side to match my card front which is 5 1/2" wide. I used the awesome dots stamp image from the kit to add spots on my card base with my Balmy Blue Stampin' Pad. The sentiment is stamped and then punched with the Double Oval punch from our Annual Catalog. The ribbon and sequins are also from our Annual Catalog, see the end of this post for my supplies.
I stamped the dots on the interior of my card too, because I was having fun! And wouldn't this spotty image be perfect stamped on the front of the envelope???
Next I cut open the back of the envelope to access and preserve the front. This is trimmed to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" to cover the front of my card base. The ribbon is wrapped and tied into a bow. I stamped my sentiment directly onto this alternative designer paper. Then I adhered that layer onto my card base. The sequins embellish all around the sentiment.
