Hello my crafty friends and welcome to our July Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! Tonight we are sharing alternative project ideas for the Painted Petals kit. We are also launching a new look in our logo, what do you think?!?
This is the instructional unboxing video from Stampin' Up!
Now I will show you what I made!
I used the yellow florals card base and cut 4" wide off of the back of the card base, set it aside. Then the card front had a strip of the back showing I cut 1/2" off off of the card front right side and 1/4" off of the bottom edge. This became the front layer that I adhered to a Daffodil Delight card base 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4". I know this is simple but I really liked the green stripe along the left edge with the "embossed" score line from the intended fold.
I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card front and embellished with several of the clear sequins. Simple is so beautiful!
My next card features the add-on dies Every Celebration that are offered to subscribers to purchase and coordinate with the July, August, September Paper Pumpkin kits.
I stamped the flowers with Gray Granite Stampin' Pad on Basic White card stock and then cut it out with a Stampin' Cut and Emboss Machine.
I used Blender Pens with Melon Mambo, Berry Burst, and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Pads to color in the image. The backgound layer is the backside of the card base that I cut off earlier.
I used a Thick Basic White card base for this card. The sentiment label is from the kit with several sparkly sequins, of course!
