Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Time for Cake

Hello lovely friends and welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop for the Time for Cake August kit.  We each have alternative design ideas using our kit.  Here is the kit unboxing video from Stampin' Up!:

The kit makes 9 cards, 3 designs/3 of each design.

I wanted to go with a more masculine design. So I cut up a card base!

I used the backside of the card base and cut it down to 3 - 3/4" x 4 - 3/4" then I rotated it.  I used a Misty Moonlight card base 11" x 4 -1/4" folded at 5 - 1/2".  There is a Night of Navy layer 5 - 1/4" x 4" behind the printed card front.  I stamped the sparkle image with Night of Navy across the Mauve area.

I used our add-on Every Celebration dies to cut the "Hooray" word.  First I put a Foam Adhesive Sheet #152815, on the backside of a scrap of Night of Navy cardstock.  Then I die cut the word 3 times.

The interior is stamped with the Happy Birthday greeting and more sparkles.

I hope you like my idea and that you enjoy our blog hop. Please leave us a quick comment to say hi and that you stopped in.  No join me to hop and see Elizabeth's alternative design:
