Welcome to our December Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop featuring alternative design ideas for the Notes from the Heart kit.
The kit includes 3 different card designs and there are 3 cards for each design. Also there are 9 Mossy Meadow envelopes with a white address label sticker to adhere to the envelope fronts.
This kit was a delight to open and see the lovely designs. I was so happy with the surprise kit this month. I love the card designs so I played with using the negative outline from the fern as a template.
I embossed a Basic White cardstock layer and then used a Sponge Dauber to apply Mossy Meadow ink. See my photo below, with the process of my ink application.
Now I did get a little engrossed and my ink went over the edge, oops! I have an unwanted smudge. Well as crafters we have tricks for how to cover the oopsies and this time it was embellishments!
I am very happy that these Adhesive-backed Transparent Dots hid my smudge and added a nice touch of coordination to my card, I'll list my products at the bottom of my post.

How fun using the negative as a stencil - nice!
Great kit with so many uses of the negatives.
I’d loved using the die cut sheet as a stencil too. :) Your card is lovely!
Beautiful card. I noticed all the awesome project using the negative for stenciling. I'll definitely be giving that a try. Thanks for another great hop.
