Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Hello Spring

Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop as we share alternative designs using the February kit Hello Spring.

See the Hello Spring kit below as it was designed to be used:
Plant the seeds of happiness with these lovely garden-inspired cards.
• Makes 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs
• Precut pieces with bronze foil
• Unique spring-themed envelopes
• Coordinating colors: Basic Beige, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lime Twist, Lost Lagoon, Old
Olive, Petunia Pop (Classic Stampin’ Spot)

I loved the stamps and the color combo of Old Olive with Petunia Pop so I was happy to start stamping. Oh! and the "Spring Is in the Air Dies Add-On" (#166237 ordering is exclusive to subscribers) was super fun to coordinate with the chive blossoms and stems.

I pulled out my Petunia Pop card stock and discovered this layer was already embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.  So it is the 4" x 4" layer behind my stamped layer. I covered the right hand flap with the 1- 1/4" x 4-1/4" layer of Petunia Pop cardstock.

I stamped the texture image along the interior top to create a coordinated touch.

Here you can see the top-down view of the card.  The card base is 11" x 4- 1/4" and it is scored at 4- 1/4" from one end and then 1- 1/4" from the opposite end.

It was so fun to use this bright and cheery Petunia Pop color today while I enjoyed the brilliantly blue sky and warm sunshine.  It's a needed "hello spring" message after the snow 10 days ago!

Love your card, Janey! The embossing folder adds so much. And now I'm inspired to use the dies that coordinate with the kit!
